Right to Respectful Care
You have the right to receive care that is considerate, respectful, and compassionate, regardless of your race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
Right to Information
You have the right to receive complete information about your diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes in terms you can understand.
Right to Make Decisions
You have the right to make decisions about your healthcare, including the right to refuse treatment, and to have your decisions respected by your provider.
Right to Privacy and Confidentiality
You have the right to have your health information kept private and confidential, in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state laws.
Right to a Second Opinion
You have the right to seek a second opinion from another licensed medical professional at any time.
Right to Know Your Provider
You have the right to know the identity, credentials, and professional background of the healthcare providers treating you.
Right to File a Complaint
You have the right to file a complaint about your care or services without fear of retaliation. Complaints may be submitted to hello@zerahealth.com or to your state medical board.
Right to Emergency Care
You have the right to receive information about emergency services and to access emergency care when needed. Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency medical care.
