Getting Started
Zera Health is a telehealth platform that connects you with licensed physicians online. Complete a short health assessment, get matched with a provider, receive your doctor-prescribed treatment, and have it shipped directly to your door — all without leaving home.
Zera Health operates in most US states. Availability varies by treatment type. Visit our Medications & States page for a full breakdown of what's available where you live.
No insurance is required. All Zera Health plans are all-inclusive with transparent pricing — no hidden fees, no co-pays, no surprise bills. You pay a flat monthly rate that includes everything: physician consultation, prescription, and free shipping.
Most patients complete their intake assessment in under 2 minutes. A licensed physician reviews your case and, if approved, your prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy for fulfillment. Most patients receive their first shipment within 5–7 business days.
Weight Loss & GLP-1
GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) receptor agonists are a class of medications that mimic a natural gut hormone to suppress appetite, slow digestion, and regulate blood sugar. They include semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro®/Zepbound®).
Semaglutide targets one receptor (GLP-1) and produces average weight loss of 10–15% of body weight. Tirzepatide targets two receptors (GIP + GLP-1) and produces average weight loss of 20–22% — making it the more powerful option. Your provider will recommend the right medication for your goals and health profile.
Clinical trials show average weight loss of 10–15% with semaglutide and 20–22% with tirzepatide over 68–72 weeks. Individual results vary based on diet, exercise, adherence, and starting weight. 9 out of 10 Zera Health patients see meaningful results within the first 60 days.
GLP-1 medications have been extensively studied and are FDA-approved for weight management. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal (nausea, diarrhea, constipation) and typically improve as your body adjusts to the medication. All prescriptions are physician-supervised with ongoing monitoring.
Medications & Pharmacy
Zera Health uses compounded medications prepared by licensed, accredited compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications contain the same active ingredients as FDA-approved drugs but are not themselves FDA-approved. They are legal and widely prescribed when commercially manufactured versions are unavailable or cost-prohibitive.
All medications are shipped free of charge in discreet, unmarked packaging directly from a licensed pharmacy to your door. Temperature-sensitive medications are shipped with appropriate cold-chain packaging. Shipping typically takes 3–5 business days after prescription approval.
